100 kilometers of gas stations in favor of e-cars distorted?-e-cars

From next month, gas stations for each customer must be visible how much a ride over 100 kilometers with different drives costs. However, protest stimulates. The mineral oil association criticizes the invoice created by the Ministry of Economic Affairs as distorting, reported “Ecomento.de “Calling on different sources.

“The price comparison is right, but it lacks the information that the average budgetary current price is based on E vehicles,” the main executive of the Mineral Oil Advice Association (MWV), Christian Kuchen, in the “World on Sunday” is quoted. Public, especially fast shop is mostly more expensive, which significantly reduces the price difference to the gasoline engine. In addition, the advantage for the electric cars are mainly due to lower taxes and duties.

From 1. October must be published the so-called energy cost comparison at all petrol stations with more than six “multi-product pillar columns”. “This must be visibly approved or displayed in the form of a poster or a digital display in the form of a poster or digital display in the form of a poster or a digital display in the form of a poster or a digital display, it is said from the Federal Ministry of Economics.

The first values of the energy cost comparison were published in September on the Internet: Accordingly, the route costs 4,84 euros with an electric car of the medium and upper class, while a car fuel refueled with superbin. In the category small car / compact class, the ride with the electricity costs 4.74 euros, 9.26 euros were calculated for the gasoline engine. The Federal Association of Energy and Water Management (BDEW) described the calculations of the Ministry of Economic Affairs to the report as “plausible”.

In 2020 Germany had participated in a pilot project of the European Commission to determine consumers’ need for information. Surveys were performed, 15 gas stations equipped with different information displays and possible implementation options with the industry and consumer associations discussed. The results were discussed in parallel with the results from other EU countries and finished in the recommendation to implement the EU Commission.

“The pilot project surveys clearly show that large information deficits exist in the consumers and consumers for alternative drives and fuels,” says the Federal Ministry of Economics. For example, more than 80 percent of respondents have classified their knowledge of alternative fuels and 50 percent of their knowledge of battery-electric drives as not sufficient. 55 percent stated that additional information on fuel costs would influence the next vehicle selection.

“The aim of the energy cost comparison for cars is to prepare an easy-to-understand comparison of the average fuel and energy consumption per 100 km transparent”, quoted “Ecomento.DE “The Ministry of Economic Affairs. The respective data based on the evaluation of the three best-selling vehicle models in the segments small car / compact class and middle / upper class and the respective required drive energy after the driving cycle WLTP.

  1. The vernacular says: The opposite of good is well meant. And this display of information is very well meant.
I’m afraid of a good part of the population can not do anything, they live in a world of “electricity is expensive, gasoline is cheap” and “I’m fine for 20 euros”.
Nevertheless – a beginning must be. The real selling price of electricity must be mapped, everything else is simply blank nonsense. The price of the fuels is not shown as a gaspin of the stock market.

Why exactly the price of an inner-city gas station should not be compared to the inner city household stream?
If the mineral oil industry would like to be compared to highways with DC fast charge on highways, then please also with the significantly more expensive prices for fuels on the highway – so always nice apples with apples compare.

And yes, the mineral oil tax is higher than the EEG surcharge – but the fact remains simply that no fuel can keep up with self-generated solar power, and there is still a night stream (by the way, most people invite you for 0.19 € / kWh)

Stupid stays for the petroleousheads that in the future will not be really “remaining power” for synthetic fuels or H2, but on this eye you are well known.
Especially blind and additionally Taub seems to be our Minister of Transport here – but that may be changed soon.

  3. The comparisons are all all.

I drive my gasoline, a full-hybrid with 4.3l / 100km, in winter it is loose 1l more. You can move the same car with a blurry foot and a lot of highway also with 6l or more at 100km. A relative needs with his quattro 15l on a hundred, or more.

My wife consumes with her ioniq 11 kWh at 100km. Other, mostly SUV with electric drive, are between 20 and 30 kWh at 100km.

The attempt to specify any average values, where the consumption in different drivers or vehicles differ by several 100 percent, is convicted from the outset to failure and in my eyes absolute humbug.

Whoever wants to compare, is better served with the information in relevant consumption portals, such as fuel monitoring.

And with the others it is awarded anyway.

  4. I always invite Lidl and Kaufland. So at the gas station should be BEV = 0 € at 100km. Or I load mostly at ionity for 0.79 € in consumption of 25kw on the highway are cost 100km = 20 €. So everything is insane.

  5. I can not say how it looks like gasoline and diesel vehicles, but at the CNG drive you really have! There is an average price of 1.12 euros the kilo and consumption of my Golf 7 TGI 1.4 l, I consume 3.5 kilos, what’s about 3.92 euros per 100 kilometers. Even in trailer construction, this 4.0 kilos consumes. What then accounts for a 100 kilometer price of 4.48 euros. Now there is a price given by the state, which should be 5.49 euros per 100 kilometers in small and compact cars, which should be an average kilo consumption of 4.9 kilos of gas. Where do such values come from? Even the Seat Leon St 1.5 l TGI consumes only 3.7 kilos with me at 100 kilometers that accounts for me 4.14 euros. In trailer operation, however, I can not say, because on my seat no trailer hitch is available. Also the largest engine in the Audi A4 / 5 2.0l G Tron has a specified consumption of 4.0 kilos of what a price of 4.48 euros accounts for 100 kilometers of gas. So even if this probably needs a bit more than Audi does not know where the specified 6.39 euros are about 100 kilometers ago. This would reflect a kilo consumption of 5.7 in Audi A4 / 5.

With the e cars you have to take the public loading points, as they are operated with green electricity. If you take household stream, it is incomprehensible if it was really taken a green stream. Thus, therefore, only coal or atomic stream can be used and then the 0 grams of CO2, which can not be voted anyway, an even greater scholarship! Since yes all E motorists anyway only on their solar system on the roof their vehicle invite their vehicle, it should actually do not cause any costs at all. Not even in winter!

  6. Maybe you should see all the time over the consumption, ie the amount of energy that is necessary for the car to be able to drive.
At my Enyaq, about 78 kW are in the “tank” these are on diesel approximately 8 liters.
    Sounds little?!
In an assumed average consumption of 20 kW for 100 are about 2 liters of diesel as a comparison.
    Just as an approach.

  7. The household stream as the basis is the considerably smaller part and thus unusable.
    Compared E-Class Diesel with 6.5l / 100 km was found at the multi-day e-Mercedes test drive 19.8 kWh / 100 km.
If you want to recharge your way quickly, the kWh is 0.82 EUR and thus gives 0.82 x 19.8 = 16,3 EUR per 100km.
This corresponds to a diesel price of 2.51 EUR per liter. 16.3 / 6.5 =
The extreme case with the multi-day test drive was 1.09 EUR per kWh fast tank stream. That would be 3.32 EUR per L Diesel.
Thus, the basis is lacking on E.
As info on the edge, electricity is traded on the BOrse Leipzig with 3 to 5 cents per kWh. I see it as possible to offer the electricity for good loads for 30 cents.
If this comes, it is switched to E immediately. Without a favorable offer, up to 3 euros per L Diesel there is no need for action, after all, you still have the extra effort when refueling,
to finance the self-discharge in cold weather conditions and the decreasing charging capacity of the battery.

  8. If you would consider the unclaimed overhead costs of both energy types, the distance would be even greater. So I mean 195 € / t CO2. Or virtual: 30 billion. € alone for a flood catastrophe this year in Germany.

Even if you are basically understood a mean from public and private shop.

Incidentally, we had consumed 660 kWh at our Scandinavienreis this year and 200 € at electricity costs with a mix of DC charge (partly free) and AC load on campsites and hotels (also free).
At home we invite for 27ct eco flow and never public. We live for rent in the MFH.

These are values from the practice, no 1 € cycling prices you pay if you only stupid enough.
