BMVI presents locations for Germany network and new price model-price

Federal Minister Andreas Scheuer has given the starting signal for the tender of the Germany network last Monday. In order to provide the basic supply of fast-loading infrastructure in medium and long distance traffic, the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (BMVI) writes the construction and operation of more than 1000 fast-loading locations with several charging points.

This will result in several thousand new quick loading points – the Germany network. They complement the existing large fast-loading locations and are to provide a nationwide and demand-based fast load infrastructure in Germany. The invitation to tender provides that on-site charging outputs up to 300 kW must be made possible. The federal government promotes the construction of the Germany network with a good two billion euros in funding

“The next quick-release column must be available in 10 minutes! Loading must always be possible and everywhere in Germany. Only in this way is we succeed in inspiring people of climate-friendly mobility and change them from the burner to an e-car. An important factor is the price on the charging column. Therefore, at our tender, we have provided a price cap of currently 44 cents per kWh below the diesel price. Overall, we take around 2 billion euros for the construction of the 1000 fast-loading locations – a strong signal, which shows how serious it is with the change to climate-friendly mobility.”- Andreas Scheuer, Federal Minister of Transport

The construction and operation of the Germany network will be awarded within two separate tenders: regionalosis as well as the nationwide loose to highways. The focus of the current announcement is the publication of the 900 search rooms of the regionalosis and the price model. In the tender, a breathing price limit of 44 cents per kWh is provided for.

By setting the price model for loading at the locations of the Deutschlandsnetz, it is to ensure that there are no harmful repercussions on the parallel developing market and find users fair prices. The amount of the breathing price cap of 44 cents per kWh was elected both under consideration of market economic aspects and climate policy aspects.

“With the tendering of the Deutschlandsnetz, a new approach now complements the instruments of the Federal Government for the rapid expansion of the charging infrastructure in Germany. Thus we deliberately delay the last, white spots’ on the loading map. This way is unique worldwide. I am looking forward to the start of the tender and a competition of ideas’.”- Johannes Pallasch, speaker of the National Security Guide Loading Center

The step of promoting the tender, the BMVI describes as a paradigm shift in the state support of the expansion of charging infrastructure in Germany. In addition to the funding programs of the BMVI for public and non-public charging infrastructure, there is now an approach in which construction and warranty of the charging points are contractually mandatory for the winners of the tendering procedure. The evaluation criteria include costs, concept and customer friendliness.

The 900 search rooms are distributed on 23 regionalosis in a total of 6 regions (North-West, North East, Central Germany, South East, South West and West). These search rooms give a specific area, Z.B. Around a transport hub. In each search room, a fast load location with at least four and up to 16 quick loading points should be created. The bidders must bring suitable locations within these search rooms or. Find. With this procedure, regional operators as well as small and medium-sized companies (SMEs) are addressed. The tender of the regionalosis should be on 15. September 2021 take place. An interactive card with the search spaces are interested in WWW.Germany network.de.

The nationwide highway loose comprise a good 200 locations on unmanaged locking facilities along the federal trailers. This should create a complete loading infrastructure along the highways. This tender should be addressed in particular companies that operate throughout Germany and Europe. The tender of the nationwide highway loose should be done in autumn by the motorway GmbH.

When determining the need for search rooms and their assembly with charging points, the already existing fast load infrastructure with more than 150 kW power was taken into account. The federal government also determines technical minimum requirements and quality standards at the locations of the rapid store network and wants to ensure their compliance.

  1. The message is not so bad. 0,44 € The kilowatt hour is okay for traveling and expanding with state promotion is correct. I do not know why I still annoy me. Probably because I already have an existing, if I’m the name of scouring just read that this minister performer is guaranteed by his foolish crew in the tender documents or contracts crafted mistakes that counteract everything.

  2. What is a breathing price cap?
Can mean as much as exhaled 44 cents, inhaled who knows how high.
Although the 44 cents may appear in the current price level on long trips OK, in the urban area, where there should also be some / many fast loads as well as those who have no wallbox, too high, too high.
20 to 30 cents would be an announcement to eliminate the superfluous exhaust gas barriers, if it would be meant by climate protection until.
Thereafter, next would be the question of who says where these charging stations will be in the future.
Hopefully not to the many AC investment locations, which have already been completely scheduled.
Then there should be a legal regulation that charging columns are not permanently projected by any parking, PHEVS and car sharing services.
