Technically, the Bugatti Centodieci is based on the well -known hyper sports car Chiron. "We faced several technical challenges in the development and design of the centodieci," says Bugatti designer Achim Anscheidt to EB 110, whose design was created in the late 1980s. “Last but not least, transporting this classic look into a new millennium without copying it was technically complicated. We had to define a new way to combine the complex aerothermal requirements of the underlying chiron technology with a completely different aesthetic appearance."

Instead of the rather two-dimensional EB-1110 heck with its pill-shaped rear lights, the centodieci in favor of efficient motor cherries relies on a wide air outlet opening, which presents the rear light elements based on EB 110. As with the super sports car of the 90s manufactured in the Northern Italian Campogalliano until 1995, the four-time 16-cylinder engine of the centodieci is presented behind a glass pane. Behind it roars the eight liter W16 monster with a mighty engine output of 1176 kW/1600 hp.From 0 to 100 km/h, the centodieci lines in 2.4, to 200 km/h in 6.1 and to 300 km/h in 13.1 seconds. The top speed is different from the platform provider Bugatti Chiron to 380 km/h. “But it is not only the top speed that makes up a hypersport car. With the centodieci we show once again that design, quality and performance are just as important, ”says Bugatti CEO Stephan Winkelmann.

The ten available models are already sold

Compared to the chiron, the centodieci saves at least 20 kilograms of empty weight. Among other things, a lighter windshield wiper and stabilizer made of carbon as well as filigree exterior mirrors are used. This enables a spectacular power -to -weight weight of 1.13 kilograms per h. As with a futuristic spaceship, the rear forms into a single ventilation hole, shaped by the eight rear light elements, matt anodized exhaust pipes and a massive diffuser. The rear wing is fixed based on the model EB 110 SS, but mechanically adjustable in its angle of attack.

    I go to everyone who can afford this luxury slide. But I really wonder what you build such racing cars at all. Probably nobody does it anyway. And only to put it down and watch (or have a look) would be too much money for me.And for our climate protection stressed, they are a nogo anyway.

And out of passion for the craft behind it. Just like wristwatches created and bought in the values of real estate. I have more understanding of than for cars for, 200 or 300.000.
