In October of this year, the Chinese brand MG plans to launch a cheap electric combination that is visually reminiscent of the VW Passat. However, a British YouTuber was already able to check what you get with the MG5 Electric for your money.

With the MG5 Electric, the Chinese car manufacturer MG brings the first fully electric station wagon to Germany in October. The manufacturer promises a high range and quick charging capacity at an affordable price. In Germany, the Chinese car brand performs with models such as the MG ZS EV and the plug-in hybrid MG EHS (you can find a practical test of the car here).

With her Canal Auto Social UK Channel, Youtuber TIIL has been given the opportunity to test the electrical station. From the outside, the 4.54 meter long station wagon is extremely inconspicuous – that the car will be "I drive electrically!" Not so loudly trumpet, the YouTuber likes particularly well.

Electro-passport with a large trunk

With a trunk volume of 578 liters, which is on 1.If you fold up the backrests, the current area is in the combi-typical area. The MG5 has 135 kW (184 hp) performance and 280 Newton meters of torque. With its 61.1 kWh, the battery integrated into the body, the car creates solid 400 kilometers of range according to WLTP. With a 100 kW load, the electrical station wagon at the quick charging station invites you to 80 percent in 30 minutes. However, according to the Youtuber Trish, the charging socket attached to the front of the closed grille can be somewhat complicated.

According to the low entry price, there is no luxury and a rather sluggish reacting central touchscreen in the interior – but the interior of the electricity does not work cheap. According to Trish, according to Trish, there are three adults (or two adults and a child with child seat in the middle), but it would not take too long journeys because the space is simply not generous enough.

According to Trish, the car drives relatively calmly, as you would expect from an electric car, come with the three driving modes of sports, eco and normal and offers regenerative brakes in three intensity levels.

The manufacturer does not yet call a price for the German market, but if it takes over the British price level, the Stromer should be just over 30 according to Auto Motor Sport.000 euros cost. You can find out whatever trish from the electro-station wagon.

  1. Disposable car
If the battery is broken after 10 years, you can scrap the car right away. Who none … can build private charging station, has lost this and so. There can be the cars. Just yesterday again on a Tesla charging station. Tesla stood there, in front of it a camping table, 2 chairs, drinks and a book -reading couple that were waiting for the Tesla to finally be loaded. In the middle of the industrial area on Sundays. Ne great employment.
