Climate protection: government consultants require significantly more E cars-require

The working group of the National Platform “Future of Mobility” (NPM) holds a much faster breakthrough in e-mobility in Germany to achieve the agreed climate protection goals. This reports “Automobile Week.de “Calling on the German Press Agency. However, the government would have to create certain prerequisites. Compared to their original announcements, politics lags far behind.

Advisor to the Federal Government therefore expect that in 2030 more than 80 percent of all newly authorized cars in Germany must be pure electric cars. The intensification of the limits prepared by the EU Commission “may require a much more faster startup,” it says in the design of the Working Group of the National Platform Future of Mobility. Instead of the previously planned seven to ten million e-cars, “a stock of approximately 14 million E-cars in 2030 for achieving the climate goals will be required”. The draft is the German Press Agency.

At the beginning of this year, around 490.000 plug-in hybrids or fully electric battery cars on German roads. In order to achieve the target of 14 million electrified cars by 2030, the experts should already be released in 2025 a good two million electrical and hybrid cars. “That is, at this time, with two-thirds of the new registrations, the E-cars dominate the German market. The necessary measures are currently missing in Germany and Europe, “said the NPM design. At the beginning of the mobility conversation, Chancellor Angela Merkel (CDU) had always proclaimed, until 2020, a million e-cars would drive on German roads.

The increase in the E-Auto number will also depend on the costs and a nationwide, Europe-wide charging column network, it says at NPM. This is all the more than the current promotion in large parts of the population. From today’s buying premiums in Germany, “upper income groups benefit stronger”, as well as the lowering of the company car tax at E-cars, “because low-income only rarely have a company car”. This year, 45 E and hybrid models would be offered. But e-cars would have to be affordable for all income groups, encountered the experts.

  1. So long ago not before buying crystal clear is what a battery exchange costs I personally do nothing. It must be clear before what happens with consumed batteries. If the battery can then be used in a home memory, I would like to get a fair equivalent for the remaining capacity, which is charged with the installation of a new battery. However, these concepts must be contractually regulated. Ideal would it be the battery to easily screw in a housing in the basement after life end and to use as a buffer for your own PV system. But not as a base solution, but as a complete solution from the manufacturer.
That’s too much for me at the moment: “Here’s your vehicle with 20.000 € Battery in it. Incidentally, is a wearing part and what happened after the end of the warranty is your problem.”Nene, not me, colleagues ..

  2. Low earners are actually rather rarely the target group for new cars. It may be that there are currently affordable burners, but that does not mean that there must be any affordable electrical models. The industry is working on it. I can not remember that someone would have demanded that airbag, ABS and ESP would have to be affordable for all. That came automatically with the time. Innovations in the automotive industry are always in the upper class, where the money is relaxed. That has recognized Tesla correctly and positioned in the market with the model s. People with a loose-sitting purse are rather ready to put a pile of money into a “pompous” chain that makes even sports cars wet than in an e-go. You want to be looked up for the more benefit and no mildly smiled. The mass wants to drive inexpensively. Would be such a technological change cheap for the mass, it would have already done someone. But my e-up shows yes that you have already arrived in the price range. Furthermore, a few technology loops continue (new cell types, slimmer manufacturing processes) will reduce the prices and there are already cheap compact and small cars without promotion.

  3. Today’s batteries survive the mileage of a burner loose. But nevertheless, this absurd sales argument is always led to the field. In combustions I have the definitive advantage that I already know today that this is only shaking up in 5 years. Of course I can export him to Africa. To enter the arguments of Dagobert is waste of time. He is definitely not an Early Adaptor. Is his good right. But the arguments are definitely not stinging anymore.

  4. What are the government consultants who still want to allow hybrid, this corresponds to the mendacious policy of this government. Why no admission stop for burners and hybrid
from 2025 such as Z.B. In Norway and other countries. In addition, these “consultants” would have to designate the still existing weak points concretely and make concrete suggestions for improvement. Only then can climate goals can be achieved, but the lobbying is a big problem.

  5. In the past, we have learned in all matters, we work “solution-oriented” and what we have been experiencing for several years, especially driven by e-mobility, the thinking has turned around 180 and now means we work “problem-oriented”. Where did our society have come, I suspect 70% still have not realized what to come to the next generation if we do not finally let the reason and hear more on nature.
