Worldwide, at the end of 2017, around 3.2 million E vehicles were on the road. Until seven years, this number should be contempt again. Now, in the context of the study GTAI Future: Electromobility has accepted the previously asked questions and examines developments in 15 countries on three continents.

In the study itself one learns, for example, that in Spain car sharing service providers switch to electric drive. In Sweden, innovative loading techniques are tested for long-distance transport transport on the street, with foreign ideas also invited to participation. In the Benelux states, small providers focus on buses and commercial vehicles with electric drive. The Swiss are just prior to marketing a cheaper and more efficient battery technology. Also Japan relies on electromobility, but puts the primary focus on the commercialization of fuel cell drives.

In the search for an environmentally friendly mobility future, each country pursues other strategies and uses other tools. Potential to learn from each other is so present.
