Recup

Lower-hearted entrepreneurs also come up with a solution for this: The Pfandbecher-System from "Recup" is impressive and conveniently implemented for customers and dealers. There are already over 7.000 editions and returns throughout Germany. In order to promote the avoidance of disposable cups at petrol stations, Shell also joined this initiative. If a shop partner is at Recup, the customer can order his coffee there in the deposit cup and only has to store one euro deposit. The customer takes the cup with him, but does not throw it away – after all, he also paid a deposit. If you want a coffee again, he can swap his mug with any shop that takes part in the Recup system for a new full cup -without a new deposit costs. Or he only releases the cup there and gets his deposit back. This is possible with every partner of the recup system. So if you have bought your cup from a Shell station, you don’t have to go back there to hand over the cup. Instead, you can do this at another Shell station, provided that it also takes part in Recup. Other traders who are part of the Recup system also take their deposit cup back. You can find out which retailers near your nearby the Recup cup will be in the RECUP app.
