Evelozcity plans to bring three electric cars to the street-plans

Already in early January we reported that Ulrich Kranz and Stefan Krause Faraday Future have left after not even three months to start Evelozcity. With the first own electric automatic project, the two now want to start together electrified. According to CEO Stefan Krause, the company has already received investments or at least commitments worth around $ 1 billion. Three electric cars are currently planned on a common platform. These should be under 50.000 dollars are offered and come with a realistic range of 400 kilometers.

The vehicles move in three segments. One of them will be a delivery vehicle, as already mentioned in the article from January 2018. The two other E-vehicles of EvelozCity are a commuter vehicle or a ridesharing stromer. However, the company does not want to build the e-cars themselves, but is in conversations with American and Chinese companies for contract manufacturing. Market start will be in the US to expand from there to China and Europe. The company already has 100 engineers and developers. By the end of the year, the start-up wants to hire at least 200 other employees.
