The prototype testing of the upcoming top model all over the world is currently in full swing. So numerous vehicles are not only on the road in Europe, but also in North America and Asia. During the hot landing test on test tracks and public roads all over the world, the development engineers primarily verify the performance and reliability of the electric motors, all -wheel drive and high -voltage battery with maximum loads due to high temperatures, unpaved paths, dust development and large differences in altitude. The path to series production leads the prototypes of the BMW i7, among other things, via tubular gravel roads and in glowing hot desert areas, the mountains and on selected dynamic routes.
