The high state subsidies for the purchase of electric cars led to a record number of applications in the past year. That reports “” citing reports from the German press agency dpa. It had already been determined beforehand that plug-in models must have a minimum electrical range of 60 kilometers instead of the previous 40 kilometers.

Even though I have benefited from the funding myself, I think it is more important to promote the broad expansion of charging infrastructure so that e-mobility can really take off.
