Third electric model after G80 electrified and GV60 is apparently to start before summer 2022

Genesis plans to soon offer cars as an all-inclusive subscription-genesis

The Korean premium manufacturer Genesis is currently turning it up enormously: It was only at the beginning of May that the Hyundai offshoot announced that Genesis vehicles should come to Europe again from the summer. Since then, one innovation has followed another.

The next step is the announcement of a subscription. Genesis Flexibility is intended to provide a "convenient and comfortable entry into the world of Genesis". The brand may have its eye on potential customers who do not yet really trust the new brand (for Germany) and therefore prefer to remain flexible for the time being.

The conditions of the subscription program should be tailored to each market. In general, however, all scheduled maintenance work is included. In addition, delivery and collection at your preferred location are included (as is the case with the purchase of a new Genesis car). It also includes the Genesis Care Plan as well as a personal customer advisor, the Genesis Personal Assistant (GPA), with whom maintenance or service appointments can be made. Also included in the package is a free rental car including a delivery service.
Further details on the subscription program will be announced shortly.

The subscription should apparently be available for all Genesis vehicles on the German market. As previously announced, Genesis wants three electric models bring. We already know two of them: The first to be launched is the large G80 electrified sedan, this is followed by the GV60 electric SUV based on the E-GMP platform. It is not yet known when exactly these models will start. With the third model, we are still completely in the dark.

The more precise formulation of the time frame is new:

"At the beginning of summer 2021, Genesis officially entered the European market. Orders for the sedans G80 and G70 as well as the SUVs GV80 and GV70 are now possible, the G70 Shooting Brake will follow shortly. The Genesis product range will be available in Europe within the first year include three fully electric vehicles. " (Genesis)

So far it has remained unclear whether the three models should start in 2021 or within 12 months of the market launch. The new formulation suggests the latter for us. The three electric models should therefore be on the market by summer 2022.
