At the beginning of the coming decade, Mini becomes a fully electric brand. There are always more and more customers worldwide today for a mini model with electrified drive, as BMW communicates. In the first half of 2021, the proportion of these vehicles rose to more than 15 percent in the global balance of the British brand. In Germany, the e-share is well twice as high.

“Mini has always been for clever solutions and efficiency and is therefore perfect for electromobility. Urban driving pleasure and locally emission-free mobility just perfectly fit together. And that is our customers.”- Bernd KOrber, Head of Brand Mini
With its 135 kW (184 hp) strong electric motor and a range of up to 234 kilometers determined in the test cycle WLTP, the urban flitzer enabled beyond the city limits mini typical driving pleasure. The MINI Cooper SE Countryman All4 with its drive system from a combustion and an electric motor, which together generate a power of 162 kW (220 hp), comes to an electric range of up to 59 kilometers according to WLTP – enough, for example, the daily commuting between the place of residence and workplace to complete locally free of emission.
With these qualities, both models have contributed to a very successful start-up phase for the transformation of the brand Mini for electromobility, the manufacturer shares with.
