There is also a 107 kW / 145 hp electric machine that is integrated into the gearbox of the eight-speed automatic and guarantees the e-ally wheel drive. Together, this results in a system output of 280 kW / 380 hp and a maximum torque of 637 Newton meters.

So that the Orthodox off-road car fans can sleep calmly, we have ventured to an off-road course with the Rubicon version. And only with the power of the two electric motors. The first look at the interior makes us a relaxed breath: everything you can expect from the Rubicon are also available at the PHEV. Touchscreen as a command center
The infotainment is called Jeep Uconnect and has an 8.4 inch touchscreen as a command center. If you are looking for a navigation system with razor -sharp premium graphics, sit in the wrong car. A jeep has different qualities. Nevertheless, the virtual pilot reliably brought us to the goal. The operation of the infotainment does not present the driver with a big puzzle and the smartphone is integrated via Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. So the jeep Wrangler has remained loyal to itself and its rustic nature with electrification. On the contrary, the e-vitamin kick is good for the terrain, but the fun has at least 69.500 euros for the Sahara and 71.000 euros for the Rubicon version not quite cheap. When the Germans can scramble electrically, is not yet known.
