    Mercedes has one big recall after the other. Perhaps one or the other Mercedes driver should slowly consider switching to a Tesla. Mercedes does not seem to have mechanics or software under control. Tesla can do the world with the software better. OTA also happens to the software update without a visit to the workshop.     When I read US specialist magazines, Tesla regularly gets the "Golden lemon". So why should I change? Just because it is currently cool to drive Tesla, own iPhone and wear sneakers. I prefer to stay with Mercedes, Samsung and Birkenstock.

    In IT we call software with many mistakes and updates: "banana software" matures with the customer … But the manufacturers get the purchase price in advance … I worked as an IT consultant for the warranty programs for a long time in the automotive industry and know the problems … especially about quantity! A lot of car owners do not even know about the quiet recall, i.e. all actions that are simply carried out during the next workshop visit because there is no immediate danger! So the supposedly so high -quality vehicle also matures with the customer!!!

    In the past, Mercedes (and Volvo) were a role model for other manufacturers in terms of security, durability and reliability. These times are long over, both companies have subsided in quality, but the competition improved at the same time. The price segment remained upper class…… (I once had a 190s, that was still a good vehicle)
