What distinguishes the KIA EV6?

At 4.70 meters, the KIA EV6 is little shorter than a passat and with a height of about 1.55 meters. So this electric kia is hardly a real SUV. Because of its long wheelbase of 2.90 meters and the aerodynamic sidelines, its proportions are more like the larger-dimensioned electro-crossover jaguar i-pace. The interior with its spacy cockpit is undoubtedly one of the highlight of the sporty Kia. It starts with the steering wheel, which seems composed of different ellipses and is overloaded with controls. A huge monitor spans over two thirds of the dashboard. Above all, however, it is the huge center console, which protrudes into the interior, that impresses. It also stimulates the start button and serves as an arm shelf.

The KIA EV6 is available in different versions. In the concrete leasind deal, it is the smallest version in the combination of the rear drive and 58 kWh battery with 125 kW/170 hp. Sje after the weather, driving style and maximum pace, you should create a range between 230 – 470 kilometers with the sleek EV6. The special thing: The EV6 gets on quickly down to a whopping 175 kW on quick charging. So the charging stops should not last more than half an hour.

The KIA, whose charging socket is not particularly practical at the rear, is charged, with an alternating current charging station (wall box or charging station 11 kW) or with a CCS rector loader from 50 to a maximum of 350 kW. The latter load fills the battery from 10 to 80 percent in 18 minutes. Kia specifies a range of up to 394 kilometers.

It is special that the EV6 can be used as a gigantic power bank. A new "Vehicle-to-Load" function (V2L) enables an adapter power to tap from the EV6. In addition, the EV6 is able to pull trailers with a weight of up to 1.6 tons.

Our bargain conclusion: Cooler deal for convinced early bookers

With the KIA EV6, the leasing platforms bring an exciting offer for private and commercial customers. The price is not necessarily remarkable, but much more the vehicle: the EV6 is a brand new vehicle on the e-car market, but you have to be patient until the car is ready to collect. And: You bind yourself quite unusual 48 months / 60 months. After all: Kia shines with a 7-year guarantee. So the entire leasing term is covered with the factory guarantee, which is more of the exception among car manufacturers.

You have to pay particular attention to these facts when leasing

Duration: Ideally, it is 24 months – because then the factory guarantee covers the entire term. If you still want to lease longer (which can also have advantages, like not having to buy new winter tires every two years), we advise you to extend the guarantee. It costs extra, but then they drive really carelessly during the entire leasing period.

Leasing factor: Here it applies: the lower, the better. The factor is calculated from the term of the leasing, the leasing rate, the purchase price of the car or vehicle list price and the one-off payment. You can find out how you can calculate the leasing factor yourself in this article (display).

Extra cost: Often a painful evil are the so -called transfer costs, which often cost around 800 to 900 euros. However, this does not mean that the car is put at the door of the door, but that only the car gets to the dealer who has put together this leasing offer. Ideally, the dealer is not too far away from you, as you not only have to pick up the car there but also have to bring back at the end of the leasing period. Attention in additional additional offers such as insurance or service: It is often not worth taking them with you, for example because you are already in a very high damage-free class or because it is an electric car with very low service costs.

Inclusive kilometer: Basically, the cheap leasing rates are on a basis of 10.000 kilometers mileage each year. Don’t worry, you don’t have to stick to it every year, it is important that you do not exceed these kilometers at the end of the term. By the way: sometimes there are (but not always!) a goodwill of about 2.500 kilometers. If you drive more than the agreed kilometers, pay on it. If you drive less, get something back per kilometer. So you should rather know how many kilometers you drive a year. Calculate it, compare the leasing rate with a higher inclusive kilometer performance and with the multi-kilometer prices (it shouldn’t be more than 7 cents per km!))).

Down payment: Even in private leasing, it is now common for you not to have anything for your new leasing car (except for the transfer-see above). The exception is the offers for e-cars or plug-in hybrids. However, you only stretch the down payment of 6, for example.000 euros only, because you will receive this money back from the state as part of electric car promotion.
