The title of sister model Veyron 16.4 Super Sport in the Guinness Book of Records recently got up for debate. The Super Sport drove the record as the fastest closed series sports car at 431 km/h in 2010 at 431 km/h. The limiter was deactivated during the journey, the series model of the Super Sport is sealed off at 415 km/h. This does not matter in the Grand Sport Vitesse, since the top technical speed is 410 kilometers per hour. There will be a world record edition of the black-orange painted convertible that is limited to eight vehicles. Unit price: 1.99 million euros net. The record car itself will soon be at the Auto Shanghai trade fair (21. up to 29. April).
