In the construction of the City Flash of E.Go could come new swing. The company has announced that one of the main investors closed a multi -million dollar deal with the Aacheners. This could now lead to the fact that cars will soon be built with ACCKU in North Rhine -Westphalia. In the video you can see the E.Go on one of the first test drives.
The Aachen company Next.E.Go Mobile SE has collected fresh money. Almost 50 million euros came together in a new investment round, such as E.GO communicated.
With this money, the company is planning to expand its E.Go life platform that "The development of additional models and offers customers unique added value such as battery exchange."
So we can expect an innovative electric car from NRW soon? Hard to say. The financing was only decided and the press release cannot be seen from how exactly the company wants to use the fresh funds. In the near future, you should not yet have a battery exchange at the E.GO models calculate because the platform mentioned must first be expanded.
Since June 2021, the company has model E.Go Life again on offer – a city car for around 25.000 euros. So far, this model has not installed a possibility for a battery exchange. And also from the others "unique added value", of which the company writes is neither known nor installed in current models.

The solution would be: sell cars without a battery, whose total performance over the number of and … The solution would be: sell cars without a battery, whose total performance regulate over the number of batteries. Battery exchange stations next to and at some point instead of building petrol stations and you have already killed several birds with one stone. Also the question of "my expensive, good battery", which then no longer exists. Refueling is saved by the battery change, through pre -assembled uniform uniform and thus cheaper battery types, also money. The only requirement: the car manufacturers would have to agree on a type – here the state would be required to make specifications – a standardized DIN fuel also applies to everyone!
Amazing?
There you have a brand new electric car, brand new batteries with a 8-year guarantee! Then you drive to a change station, give your brand new batteries and get what batteries in exchange? Old unknown, charging cycles unknown, as is often stressed by fast charging processes?
Great concept
However, should not cost more than € 10k and the current funding should be passed on to such vehicles. With funding € 1000 and I would think about it if I could expand the battery and it would be loadable at home also for city dwellers. Something like that has more future than any Tesla ever built.
