Opel Vivaro E electric transporter already from 26.650 euros with environmental bonus

Reported multiple times the Electro-offensive from Opel continues: From 2020, the transporter Opel Vivaro is also offered as a purely battery electrical version. At the beginning of July 2020, the trio, consisting of the Citroën Jumpy and the Opel Vivaro, and the Peugeot Expert was complete. Prices for the electric transporters of the PSA Group have not yet been communicated. Since mid-July we now know, the Opel Vivaro-E electric transporter is already from 26.650 euros with environmental bonus available.

For as Opel gives understand, the company immediately accepts orders for the new purely battery-electric Vivaro-E. Prices start at 35.650 euros (all prices in Germany excluding VAT) – less the increased environmental premium is Netto 26.650 euros. The delivery of the emission-free box carriage starts this year. Customers can choose between two different large lithium-ion batteries. Depending on your needs, a battery with 75 kWh for a range up to 330 kilometers and a 50 kWh battery for a maximum of 230 kilometers according to WLTP2 available.

With the new Stromber Opel continues the success story of the Vivaro, which began in 2001 with the first generation. In addition, the transporter is part of the electropload six of the manufacturer. On the Vivaro E follows the light commercial vehicles in the coming year of purely battery electrical Opel Combo-E. Opel will have electrified by 2024 all car and LCV series. The Opel sister brand Vauxhall was already announced a corresponding distribution success. The energy supplier British gas an order over 1.000 electric vivaro-e-transporter – one of the largest commercial orders for electric vehicles in the United Kingdom.

The electric transporter is based on the Variables EMP2 platform of the Group. This multi-energy platform allows the use of conventional as well as electrified drives. We are now looking forward to seeing appropriate lot sizes in the order of German companies.
