On the one hand, it relates to the Porsche coat of arms, which has adorned a jumping horse since 1952. On the other hand, according to the manufacturer, the term recurs with perseverance, will to perform and freedom.
Electric Porsche should be extremely fast
The Taycan accelerates to 100 km / h in less than 3.5 seconds, several acceleration processes in a row are possible without loss of performance, promises Porsche. The maximum range is over 500 kilometers (according to NEFZ). The four-door sports car below the Panamera has an 800-volt architecture, on the Schnell charging network you can load energy for 100 kilometers of range in around four minutes.

The Porsche stem in Zuffenhausen is currently being rebuilt and expanded for the Taycan, among other things a new paint shop and assembly are being built. According to Porsche, 1200 new jobs are created by the new model in Zuffenhausen alone. Porsche plans to invest more than six billion euros in electromobility by 2022, in addition to variants and derivatives of the Tacan also in the electrification of the existing product range.
Price: from 90.000 euros
The series car will at least look very similar to the show car. The four -door electrical sports car will be slightly smaller than a Porsche Panamera and also cost a little less. The standard car is said to have exterior mirrors and the body is not made from carbon, but in mixed construction. The doors will no longer open in the opposite one, but rather normally.

Very nice car
This e-car. A Porsche. Before I for 125.000 would buy a Tesla … This Taycan in the garage.
Ray of hope
Better late than never. Porsche will finally come electrically in 2019. Ties in with the electrical tradition of the Lohner-Porsche from 1900. I am surprised that the acceleration does not go more than 3.5 seconds to 100 (Tesla Model S 2.5 seconds, Roadster NEW 2.0 seconds), but the electric motor should be still more stable. The loading times would be, if you come in reality, state of the art at an electric car: 100 km in 4 min, 400 km in 20 min. The range is also ok and the top speed. The new E-Porsche is always a ray of hope for the future. Unlike diesel that Porsche removed from the program.
Betting?
After the proud owners of the new E-Porsche have been stiring into acceleration orgies for a while, they will line up in the right lane of the highway at 110 km / h.
Toy car
Great, 3.5 seconds from 0 to 100 and even several times in a row!!! If I only call a sixth of the performance that the vehicle makes available, a battery charge will not even hold out for an hour. If I drive consistently maximum speed, according to Pi malfahumen 200km end. Euro6 will probably not be observed in our current electricity mix. At the moment there is no reasonable charging technology except you have a socket directly on the nuclear power plant. What are such completely meaningless vehicles???
Stay cool, don’t see everything so negatively.
Every beginning is difficult, and the Porsche is as good as Tesla, not even more expensive. Who drives the please full throttle until the battery or tank is empty? That is nonsense and not relevant in everyday life because it is not possible in terms of traffic in terms of traffic. Better to be happy that the German manufacturers are slowly building great e-cars. And many other things are also meaningless.
