Skoda Enyaq iV 50: Order start for the basic version with 109 kW-version

Skoda has five engines for the Enyaq promised. So far only two variants could be configured, the Enyaq 60 iV with 132 kW and the Enyaq 80 iV with 150 kW. The basic version Enyaq 50 iV is now also available. As announced in September, it costs 33,800 euros. You can mentally deduct 9,570 euros in funding, so that you end up with 24,230 euros.

The cheapest Enyaq has a 109 kW (148 hp) rear engine, the maximum torque is 220 Newton meters. The lithium-ion battery has 55 kWh gross or 52 kWh net and enables a range of 362 kilometers according to WLTP. That is 22 km more than promised in September. The range also increased slightly with the Enyaq 60 and 80.

But there is also a disappointment with the Enyaq: According to the Skoda configurator, all three versions only charge with 50 kW DC, not with 125 kW, as we thought. But even the basic versions of the VW ID.4 only charge with 50 kW DC. After all, the Enyaq can be charged with three-phase alternating current, whether with 11 or 22 kW is not clear from the configurator. VW only offers 7.4 kW of the ID.4 basic versions, i.e. single-phase charging.

Standard on board the Enyaq are LED headlights, 18-inch rims, two-zone automatic air conditioning, a leather steering wheel with multifunction buttons and electrically adjustable and heated exterior mirrors.

The standard scope also includes assistants such as an anti-collision system with pedestrian and cyclist detection and city emergency braking function, traffic sign recognition, lane departure warning, cruise control, evasion and turning assistant. The avoidance assistant supports the driver in the event of an impending collision with a pedestrian, cyclist or other vehicle by increasing the steering torque. When turning left at intersections, the turning assistant detects oncoming traffic, warns the driver and stops the vehicle automatically if necessary.
