SKODA FABIA | New top motorization in Auto Klein GmbH & Co. KG-skoda

› Four-cylinder with 7-speed DSG drives FABIA with 110 kW (150 hp) (combined fuel consumption 4.9 – 4.8 l/100 km, combined CO2 emissions 113 – 109 g/km)
› The new top unit is available in the Ambition and Style equipment lines
› New FABIA in combination with 1.5 Top-TSI from 23.090 euros can be ordered
› SKODA is now offering the FABIA with an optional sports suspension

Weiterstadt – SKODA is rounding off the range of engines for the new FABIA: the 1.5 TSI petrol engine has an output of 110 kW (150 hp) and comes with a 7-speed direct shift gearbox (DSG) as standard. Customers can order him for the Fabia in the equipment lines AMBITION and STYLE. In terms of price, the new unit starts at 23.090 euros in the FABIA Ambition. SKODA is also expanding the range with an optional sports suspension.

Like all engines in the small Czech car, the 1.5 TSI comes from the new EVO generation from the Volkswagen Group and meets the strict Euro 6d emissions standard. With it, the FABIA accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.0 seconds. At the same time, the motorization impresses with its high level of economy and efficiency. The active cylinder management (ACT), for example, contributes to this: under low load, it automatically switches off two of the four cylinders without the driver noticing, thereby reducing fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.

Further innovations for the FABIA
In the equipment lines Active, Ambition and Style, Skoda now offers a sports suspension including sporty vote and 15 millimeters lowering for the small car. The interior can also have that sports car feeling: with the optional Dynamic equipment package, the FABIA has sports seats with microfibre/fabric covers, a dynamically designed three-spoke leather steering wheel and a black roof lining as well as pedals in a stainless steel design.

In total, customers can choose between six engine and transmission variants for the new SKODA FABIA. More information about these engine-transmission options, equipment details and prices is available on the SKODA Media page ready.

The specified consumption and emission values were determined according to the legally prescribed measurement methods. Since the 1st. September 2017, certain new cars are already under the world’s harmonized test method for passenger cars and lightweight commercial vehicles (Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure, WLTP), a more realistic test method for measuring fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, type. Since the 1st. September 2018 the new WLTP (Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure) replaces the previous driving cycle (NEDC). Due to the more realistic test conditions, the fuel consumption and CO2 emission values measured according to the WLTP are in many cases higher than those measured according to the NEDC. More information on the differences between WLTP and NEDC can be found at www.skoda car.de/wltp.
The NEDC values are currently still mandatory to be communicated. In the case of new vehicles that are type-approved according to WLTP, the NEDC values are derived from the WLTP values. The additional specification of the WLTP values can be provided voluntarily until their mandatory use. Insofar as the NEDC values are given as ranges, they do not refer to a single, individual vehicle and are not part of the offer. They are used solely for purposes of comparison between the various vehicle types. Additional equipment and accessories (attachments, tire format, etc.) relevant vehicle parameters, such as. B. Weight, rolling resistance and aerodynamics change and, in addition to weather and traffic conditions as well as individual driving behavior, influence fuel consumption, power consumption, CO2 emissions and the mileage of a vehicle.

Further information on the official fuel consumption and the official, specific CO2 emissions of new passenger cars can be obtained from the "Guide to fuel consumption, CO2 emissions and electricity consumption of new passenger cars" can be taken from all sales outlets and from DAT Deutsche Automobil Treuhand GmbH, Hellmuth-Hirth-Str. 1, 73760 Ostfildern-Scharnhausen (www.that.de), is available free of charge.
