Under company boss Laurin Hahn, Sono has been working on the development of an electric vehicle Sion for more than five years, the batteries of which can not only be loaded on the socket. With a household connector, all common electronic devices with up to 2.7 kW can be powered by the Sion. The Sion can deliver up to 7.6 kW via a type 2 connector. The Sion not only consistently relies on lightweight construction thanks to its body parts made of scratch -resistant polycarbonate.

The sale of the Sono Sion is scheduled to start in the second half of 2019.
