The car manufacturer Ssangyong was founded in 1954, but is still relatively unknown in spite of such a long tradition outside his home Korea. Well possible that the Korando E100 announced in the past fall changes. Furthermore, you have announced a middle class SUV under the project name J100. Now Ssangyong shows another electro-car study under the code name X200.
The X200 comes a track more compact than the J100 therefore. Alone from the dimensions made from the sketch can be concluded that the vehicle in the B-segment (small car) or the C segment (compact cars) will be on the road. More likely is the fact that the E-SUV comes as a small car. Since he would otherwise come into direct competition to the Korando.
Regardless of the segment, in which one will place the X200, certainly is certainly that the design is not as powerful and striking on the road, as you could first suspect. Generous, square wheel excerpts, a powerful underrun protection and coarse tires make the E-SUV a real offroader. Whereby the surfboards on the roof suggest that the stromer is not only in the mountains at home. Looking at other sketches shows that the roof looks segmented – this could suggest that the middle part could be removed.
But even before the X200 comes from Ssangyong to the street, the J100 will see the light of the world. This should bring a new design philosophy as a first vehicle. The electro-initial of Ssangyong is the compact Korando e-motion. After it was in June, he starts in August, the car should now roll “in autumn” to Europe. To drive, Ssangyong still makes no information.
