Stellantis plans to bring 20 electrified models in the next 24 months
Stellantis is now the fourth largest car company in the world and has no less than 14 brands under its roof. Many of them will experience a violent wave of electrification in the coming years and this will also affect the newly proclaimed premium triumvirate Lancia, DS and Alfa Romeo by 2027.
Before that happens, however, the conversion in the direction of electronics will really get underway elsewhere. A total of 20 electrified models are expected to come onto the market within the next two years. 10 all-electric vehicles, nine plug-in hybrids and one model that is offered with both PHEV and electric drives.
A new document on the sales figures for the first half of 2021 also contains a product roadmap for the electrification of the Group's brands. This shows that two of the North American manufacturers will also receive models with a plug in the next two years. Dodge wants to introduce a plug-in hybrid in 2022. Exactly which car it is has not yet been communicated, but since the brand with the ram's head currently only offers the Challenger, the Charger and the seven-seater Durango, it can be assumed that it is the SUV that receives an electric boost.
Jeep is supposed to do this will present its first fully electric model in the first half of 2023. It is currently believed to be a small crossover that will roll off the assembly line in Poland with two sister models from Fiat and Alfa Romeo. The latter will reportedly go by the name Brennero.
Stellantis has already announced that it will invest in its Tychy facility to start production of hybrids and EVs for these three brands. Our colleagues at Motor1.com Italy suspect that the Jeep will be the successor to the Renegade, while the electric Fiat will replace the 500X.

Stellantis does not appear to have any electrification plans for Chrysler in the next two years. Even if the recently introduced Airflow Vision EV should happen, the clean crossover will probably not start before the second half of 2023.
