Next model apparently a small SUV of the sub-brand bZ
The Toyota Group showed no less than 15 new electric cars at its Battery EV Day on Tuesday morning. The range extends from the smallest (smallest) vehicle for car sharing to a Lexus sports car and various SUVs to pick-ups.
In the first row behind Toyota boss Akio Toyoda were five vehicles from Toyota's bZ series.

The beginning is apparently a small SUV, which was in red paint in the center directly behind Toyoda. In order to keep costs and weight low, Toyota has paid particular attention to low power consumption. It should be only 12.5 kWh / 100 km. For comparison: the most economical version of the Fiat 500 e consumes 13 kWh.
Toyota bZ: Small SUV
The Toyota bZ4X is already known in detail (far left in the picture); in addition, three further bZ models are planned:
- a compact SUV with a coupe-like silhouette
- a mid-size sedan
- a big SUV
In row two were new Lexus vehicles. In addition to the already teased RZ (in the picture on the far right, apparently the Lexus version of the bZ4X), an electric sports car is to be expected with a range of 700 km and a sprint in the low two-second range. The construction also includes the use of a solid-state battery thought:

In addition, the following are planned:
- a coupe sedan
- a big SUV

A third row of electric cars (in bright colors) is designed to reflect the increasingly diverse nature of society. The very different vehicles range from pick-ups and compact off-roaders to small delivery vans for the last mile (such as the box-like e-pallet) to small (very) cars for car sharing.
Electric pick-up
Toyota: Compact Cruiser EV
These vehicles are to be based partly on dedicated electric platforms and partly on existing vehicles. The blue vehicle ("Compact Cruiser EV"), for example, looks like a new electric version of the Toyota FJ Cruiser, the pickup could be an electric version of the Toyota Tundra.

In addition, Toyota presented its sales targets at the event, which was broadcast online: In 2030, Toyota plans to sell 3.5 million battery electric cars (BEVs) a year – about as much as Daimler as a whole, as Akio Toyoda said in the question-and-answer session. In addition, a million all-electric Lexus models are to come.
Lexus is expected to offer a BEV in every segment by 2030. Only BEVs are to be sold in Europe, North America and China, and then worldwide in 2035. As recently announced, Toyota Motor Europe plans to only offer electric cars in Western Europe from 2035.

Toyota: Electric versions of C-HR and Corolla possible from 2026
The group aims to bring 30 BEVs to market by 2030. To achieve this, the company wants to invest 4 trillion yen (about 31 billion euros); this includes 2 trillion yen for batteries. The same amount of 4 trillion yen is said to go into HEVs, PHEVs and FCEVs.
