Toyotas Premium brand Lexus wants to bring an electric super sports car onto the market that is supposed to step into the footsteps of the Lexus LFA. The electric athlete, who may be supposed to come with a solid battery, should need far less than three seconds from 0 to 100 km/h. In Toyota’s surprising unveiling of a total of 15 planned electric cars, there was also an electric super sports car, with which Toyota would probably like to revive memories of the rare Lexus LFA, which was produced between 2010 and 2012 in a circulation of only 500 copies.

The performance and range could be made possible through the use of solid batteries, the development of which of the parent company Toyota had recently announced. From the middle of the decade, Toyota plans to install these energy stores that rely on a solid electrolyte in its vehicles. First of all, however, the Japanese want to use the solid batteries in their hybrid cars to test and evaluate the technology.
