The Swedish city mobile with a range of up to 300 km is apparently not dead yet
Uniti One: Admittedly, we no longer had this electric car on our radar. But it still exists, the small electric car from Sweden, which is only 3.22 meters long. We put together the current information status.
Uniti is a company founded in 2016 as a spin-off from Lund University (southern Sweden). The Uniti One was presented at the end of 2017. The small electric two-seater with smooth shapes should be on the market as early as 2019. When the time came, the market launch was postponed to mid-2020, and the car was only supposed to start in Sweden and Great Britain for the time being. The two-seater had become a three-seater.

And today? You can still configure the car on the manufacturer's website. The price is also the same as in 2019: the "global" configurator lists 17,767 euros before taxes and subsidies. With German VAT that would be 21,143 euros.
The car is still a three-seater with a central driver's seat and two seats in the rear. The rear seats can be folded down, increasing the trunk to a remarkable 760 liters. The steeply inclined windshield is aerodynamically favorable, but the little car is quite high at over 1.50 meters. The cockpit apparently offers three displays, and Android Auto serves as the operating system.
The drive is provided by a 50 kW electric motor on the rear axle, which enables speeds of up to 120 km / h. The basic version has a 12 kWh battery for a range of 150 km, for a net price of 2,800 euros there is a battery that is twice as large. The same surcharge is paid for a 22 kW on-board charger; as standard, charging is only carried out with 3.2 kW AC.
All of that sounds like an interesting small electric car. However, you can still not order the car. Regardless of whether you use the "global" configurator, the one for Great Britain or the one for Sweden: You can only register on a waiting list. Too bad. After all, Uniti still exists and the project has apparently not yet been buried.
