A lot of performance, a lot of comfort, a lot of money … a lot of good?
The Audi e-tron is extremely promising, but not perfect. It’s going in the right direction: theoretically over 400 kilometers and an output of 300 kW (408 hp). But the better and more numerous the electric cars the more clearly the charging infrastructure, which is in need of improvement, is revealed. We’ll find out whether you can live with the e-tron.
The Audi e-tron manages the 100 km / h sprint in 5.7 seconds and reaches a top speed of 200 km / h. Similar to all-wheel drive with ultra technology, the e-tron normally only drives one axle. Here it is the rear roof. The front axle can be activated predictively.
The batteries are located under the passenger cabin and between the axles. The center of gravity is therefore lower than that of a conventionally powered SUV. With a weight distribution of around 50:50, the load distribution is also balanced.

With a length of 4.90 meters and a wheelbase of 2.93 meters, the e-tron is closer to the Q7 than to the Q5. However, the height of 1.62 meters is four centimeters less than the Q5 (and significantly lower than the Q7).
The trunk has a capacity of 660 liters, of which the additional compartment under the front hood contributes 60 liters. The on-board tools and the charging cable are housed here. With the rear seat folded down, the load capacity increases to 1,725 liters.
The Audi e-tron can be charged via its CCS port with up to 150 kilowatts of direct current. The e-tron is charged to 80 percent in less than half an hour. You can also charge the electric SUV with alternating current while traveling.
