New offer structure with packages soon also for the normal versions of ID.4 and ID.3
On April 28, VW presented the all-wheel drive version of the ID.4; Around two weeks later, the ID.4 GTX can now be ordered, according to the manufacturer. As already known, prices start at 50,415 euros.
Since the net list price is between 40,000 and 65,000 euros, the funding amount here is 7,500 euros net. The 5,000 euros from the state are deducted net, plus 2,500 euros net from VW, for a total of 7,975 euros gross. After funding (which has only been applied for, but not yet approved), the ID.4 GTX therefore costs 42,440 euros.
The ID.4 GTX has all-wheel drive with a 150 kW PSM at the rear; the power of the ASM front engine is not specified. The front engine of the Audi Q4 e-tron has 80 kW, as we learned from an Audi expert at the presentation. The system performance is limited to 220 kW by the battery.
The car should sprint to 100 km / h in 6.2 seconds; the maximum speed is limited to 180 km / h. The largest battery from the MEB is used as the battery, with a net capacity of 77 kWh. This should allow 480 km according to the WLTP standard. The ID.4 GTX is charged with up to 11 kW alternating current or up to 125 kW direct current, like all higher-quality ID.4 versions. An upgrade to 170 kW charging power is supposed to take place in 2021.

The all-wheel drive version gets a special position in the ID.4 range with the abbreviation GTX. The three letters are supposed to bring them closer to GTI, GTD and GTE as a "performance model" (although the diesel version GTD from VW is usually not mentioned for image reasons).
GTX interior: red details in the interior as in the Golf GTI, but no checked seats
The ID.4 GTX can also be found in the configurator on the VW website. Similar to the VW Golf GTI and Co., the equipment is already fixed with the selection of the GTX, but you can choose various packages, such as design, infotainment, assistance, comfort and sports package, each of which is in a base – as well as in a plus version.
According to VW, this new offer structure will also be introduced shortly for the normal ID.3 and ID.4. That should mean that the confusing variety of versions is no longer available. So far, for example, no fewer than nine variants named Pure, City, Style, Pro etc. have been offered for the ID.4. It is particularly confusing that, for example, "Pro" stands for a feature, but also for the large 77 kWh battery. A simpler structure of the offer should be very welcome to buyers.
