What distinguishes the e-up?
The VW e-up has some features that characterize it as an excellent city car. The 32.3 kWh battery enables in practice on trips through the city, over the country and a little motorway of around 200 kilometers. Those who drive particularly carefully also create 250 kilometers. You don’t need to fear a lame box, the 83 hp make the little one lively, only on the highway is at 130 km/h.
The city car can also score in another aspect: the back seat of the little four-door can be folded. This creates a loading volume of 923 liters in the trunk – properly! On the outside, the VW e-up with a length of 3.5 meters and only 1.6 meters width remains a compact city car for small parking spaces where cars have to drive jealous from a golf size.
Extremely positive: the e-up from the leasing offer has a CCS quick charging connection. This is almost compulsory for longer distances: the VW pulls a maximum of 40 kW out of charging stations with alternating current, from zero to 80 percent the car loads in around 45 minutes. On the other hand, the full load on the DC loader, i.e. on the wall box, takes four hours.
In addition, there is a decent equipment in the leasing e-up: in addition to 15-inch light metal wheels and electrically adjustable and heated exterior mirrors, you also get a multifunction steering wheel and ambient lighting. All information about the equipment can be found here (advertisement). The only criticism: the reversing camera is missing.

Our conclusion: hot electric bargains for hurry
The days when the previous E-up was thrown for less than 50 euros are long gone. And will certainly not come anymore, the car is simply too asked. Nevertheless, the leasing offer is.de fair, nasty hooks do not exist. Probably the biggest plus points are the very quick availability and the CCS quick load socket. As is so often the case with leasing offers, the provision costs are quite high again, although customers have to pick up the car directly from the factory.
If you attach great importance to a city-compatible electric car that convinces technically and qualitatively, you will get your money’s worth at the e-up.

You have to pay particular attention to these facts when leasing
Duration: Ideally, it is 24 months – because then the factory guarantee covers the entire term. If you still want to lease longer (which can also have advantages, like not having to buy new winter tires every two years), we advise you to extend the guarantee. It costs extra, but then they drive really carelessly during the entire leasing period.
Leasing factor: Here it applies: the lower, the better. The factor is calculated from the term of the leasing, the leasing rate, the purchase price of the car or vehicle list price and the one-off payment. You can find out how you can calculate the leasing factor yourself in this article (display).
Extra cost: Often a painful evil are the so -called transfer costs, which often cost around 800 to 900 euros. However, this does not mean that the car is put at the door of the door, but that only the car gets to the dealer who has put together this leasing offer. Ideally, the dealer is not too far away from you, as you not only have to pick up the car there but also have to bring back at the end of the leasing period. Attention in additional additional offers such as insurance or service: It is often not worth taking them with you, for example because you are already in a very high damage-free class or because it is an electric car with very low service costs.
Inclusive kilometer: Basically, the cheap leasing rates are on a basis of 10.000 kilometers mileage each year. Don’t worry, you don’t have to stick to it every year, it is important that you do not exceed these kilometers at the end of the term. By the way: sometimes there are (but not always!) a goodwill of about 2.500 kilometers. If you drive more than the agreed kilometers, pay on it. If you drive less, get something back per kilometer. So you should rather know how many kilometers you drive a year. Calculate it, compare the leasing rate with a higher inclusive kilometer performance and with the multi-kilometer prices (it shouldn’t be more than 7 cents per km!))).
Down payment: Even in private leasing, it is now common for you not to have anything for your new leasing car (except for the transfer-see above). The exception is the offers for e-cars or plug-in hybrids. However, you only stretch the down payment of 6, for example.000 euros only, because you will receive this money back from the state as part of electric car promotion.
