In April, we reported that the electric car start-up World Cup engine, founded by the former China boss of the automaker Volvo, sets on an expansion of its factory to advance faster in the Chinese electric car market.
Now it became known that the start-up with the supplier BorgWarner has received a strategic cooperation. The agreement of the two companies provides that they will make common cause in the development of electrical and hybrid vehicles in China.
First agreed on a three-year term of the agreement. During this time, BorgWarner will provide a comprehensive range of electric drive technologies to WM engine. Already at the WM EX5 you have worked together and deepens this now.
BorgWarner has now expanded its business on the growing market for energy vehicles in China. The US company has just completed a contract with Great Wall Motors on the delivery of the EDM high-performance drive module for the Great Wall Motors Electric Sedan and Models of the Ora brand.
In the WM engine, however, is expected to introduce three new models on the plan for 2019, including the series model of the EX6 Concept. 100 are 100.000 vehicles to be delivered next year.
